My first burlap wreath is finished. It ended up to be a wall wreath instead of an advent wreath.
My plan was to make it into an advent wreath with 4 candles, but since I didn't have either candles nor
candle holders on hand, I decided to hang it up ..... and I like it!
This cute pair is available for adoption on Bear Pile: http://www.bearpile.com/item/70397 Yellow is crocheted from a variety of yarns. He stands about 7" tall and
is one-of-a-kind. His head is cotter pin jointed, his limbs are
thread-jointed. His eyes are premium German glass eyes and his nose is a
shiny black glass nose. I have applied subtle shading with dry oil
paints to his paw pads.
He is dressed in a crocheted hat and knitted vest, all handmade by me just for him.
Yellow is accompanied by his friend Mr. Purple, a needle felted tiny bear, 4 “ tall and 5-way thread-jointed.
He will also come with two vintage wooden building blocks.
We don't have snow very often, maybe one day per year a little dusting!
Last year we didn't even have this one day!
Yesterday evening it started snowing and this morning there was still some left on the ground. It looks so pretty, but it is sooo cold! That makes me even more looking forward to next weekend's show in Tampa (Florida).
I am back home. The show was great and the Florida weather was perfect!
I would have loved to take more pictures from the show but had only my phone and this was running out of batterie! Too bad, but I was able to take at least a couple of pictures. The doll in the first picture was really beautiful ..... and huge! I wouldnt know where to find a spot in my house for it.
