... and one more BJD

I just love these dolls!
They allow so much room for creativity, and once in a while I need to do something other than crocheting bears.
These dolls come blank, like shown in the last picture. You get to customize them completely by adding the face up, eyes, wigs and clothes. I think I already mentioned this in my last posts about the little babies.
But now I am back to crocheting bears!

Another BJD

I have finished another BJD that was waiting in my stash to receive a face up, wig, eyes and clothes.
She was so much fun to make and I enjoyed taking pictures with her brother whom I had finished a couple of days earlier.
They are tiny BJDs, just 12 cm, made by Hujoo which I had received blank.
They are so cute!

However, I am not neglecting bear making. Parallel I am working on another crocheted bear who should be ready in about a week.

I wish everybody a great weekend!

This little doll is my latest project.
He is a BJD and came to me "blank", looking like an alien. He didn't have any color, no eyes,  no hair and no clothes.

I did my first face-up on him which turned out o.k., although I think my next one will look better.
I still had unused eyes from a doll sculpting class I did with Jack Johnston a couple of years ago and
made a wig from faux fur.
He looked quite good but still needed clothes. I couldn't find any in my stash and had to make his outfit. I got some children's clothes which worked really well.

These little dolls are addictive and fun to play with because of her endless posing possibilities.
The next one I will make into a girl! At the moment she still looks like an alien.

It was fun to work on something different for a change!

A new wig for my BJD doll

Today I have been working on a new bear.
This one is crocheted from blue yarn and will be finished soon.

Another project I have had in my mind for a long time: to make a wig for one of my BJD dolls.
When I bought her a couple of years ago I got her one with extremely long blond hair. However, I never really liked it on her. Her outfit is sassy and her wig was way too boring.

I think, now wig and outfit match!
