Today I received my April 2010 issue of Teddy Bear Review. What a surprise! On page 46 bearkidz minis #6 and #7 are pictured in the article about Tiny Teddies!

In the current issue of the online magazine Bears and Buds my bears Caroline and Henrik are shown in "What's New".

Nice!
My new website is almost ready. I have been working on it for the last couple of weeks. It will have a new sleek design and I hope visitors will like it.

Feedback how you like it would be very welcome!

The first snowflakes of this Winter made it to Charlotte! The snow blanket is only about 1/2 inch but it is very cold and the streets are covered with ice.

My dog and I went for a short walk, all bundled up. It was not easy to walk on the ice, so we decided to go home, sit by the fireplace and have a hot chocolate for me and a doggie treat for my 4-legged friend.

This was already enough snow for me! I am ready for spring!

bearkidz-baby Henrik

Little Henrik was "born" today! He is crocheted from a super soft whispy eyelash yarn and I designed and crocheted the cutest little outfit for him. His size is about 6.5 inches standing. In case you want to know more about baby Henrik, please contact me.

dolls for a change

In Naples (Florida)at the doll show some of my bearkidz-babies found new mommies so I felt, I should give some dolls a new home. You might perhaps know that I don't just collect bears but also dolls. One Kaethe Kruse (Schielboeckchen) and a Schildkroet (Turtle Mark) doll named Baerbel caught my eye, and I had to adopt them. They looked so lonely, and I can even speak in German with them! lol

I arrived in Jacksonville yesterday night and will today continue my drive home to Charlotte. This was the view from my window in Jacksonville this morning. My camera couldn't really catch the beauty of the sunrise. The picture can only give an idea how gorgeous the sky looked.
